The OwnCincy Housing Policy Symposium on Friday, October 24, 2025, will bring together nonprofit leaders, community council members, housing and community advocates, local elected officials, and policy influencers for a day of learning, dialogue, and action.

From morning through afternoon, participants will engage in interactive workshops that explore the barriers to Black and minority homeownership, innovative strategies for expanding access, and the challenges of sustaining generational wealth through housing. Topics will include lending discrimination, tax abatements, appraisal bias, heirs’ property and estate planning, deferred maintenance and repair programs, and creative housing tools like pattern book designs and portfolio programs.

The day concludes with a Policy & Advocacy Roundtable featuring city, county, and state leaders focused on translating the symposium’s insights into actionable steps that can shape future housing policy in Greater Cincinnati.

Join us at Union Hall, 1311 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
